Microblading is a semi-permanent form of make-up, which involves a qualified technician making tiny incisions using a specialised blade, after which pigment is applied and allowed to enter the upper layers of the skin. This results in very crisp, thin hairstrokes.
The process itself is far less daunting than many first-timers imagine. Typically it takes anywhere between 1.5 to 2 hours, and includes a period of preparation time where the technician will shape and style the brows to the client’s satisfaction. Once happy, the technician and the client select a pigment colour together, after which the microblading process itself can get underway.
It is important to note, this treatment is a process and can take approximately 30 days to see final results. Two sessions are required to complete the full treatment.
